Raspberry Pi 3

Hello today I am going to be reviewing the raspberry pi 3.

The RP3 (raspberry pi 3) is a small computer the size of a credit card.

It was initially designed to help children understand how computers work but it can also teach you how to code or help you make clever gadgets.
For example someone used the raspberry pi to make a mirror which can tell you the time, the weather forecast or the latest news.

The raspberry pi comes at an average market price of £35 but you need the following items to set it up:

• mini usb (universal serial bus)
• Noobs (new out of box software) which you can buy the sim cards for it on either amazon or ebay
• A monitor with a hdmi (high definition media interface)
• A keyboard and mouse (but if you set the raspberry pi up headless it wont need these)
• And finally a hdmi cable.

Once you turn on the raspberry pi 3 it will it will start running a load of code across the screen, don't panic it is just part of the setting up process.
Then a screen will pop up asking you to press shift. Don’t because after a few seconds it will come up with your desktop screen.
If it is white you have the older version of noobs but it doesn't matter if the screen is grayish then you have the newer version.

Although the raspberry pi 3 is not a very powerful computer it is great for learning linux or code on and is also good for making cool gadgets on and for that reason i am giving it 4.5 stars.
